Pururin (a.k.a. Purin[1]) is the main character of a fictitious anime in the world of Welcome to the N.H.K. a magical girl that can transform into objects such as pudding. Kaoru Yamazaki is deeply in love with this fictional character and litters his room with figurines and life-sized body pillows of her. He also frequently plays her theme song.

Purin is not shown to have a personality in NHK because there’s not much depth to her character since she’s a background character in a fictional anime, however it is headcanoned that Purin is bipolar and treats her friends like slaves, and as for her hero job, she slacks off all the time.
